6th November 2011 - Rooney to use Arshavin in Appeal Case
Wayne Rooney will use Arsenal and Russia's Andrey Arshavin as the basis for an appeal against his 3 match suspension that will see Rooney miss England's opening group matches. Arshavin was banned for just 2 matches after being sent off for violent conduct in the match against Andorra before the European Championships four years ago.
Rooney wants the same treament that will see him play a part in the group stages. Rooney is set to miss England's friendly against Spain on Saturday as Capello looks to give younger players a chance to perform.

Wayne Rooney has scored a hat trick as manchester united have come from 2-0 down to beat West Ham 4-2. Javier Hernadez scored United's fourth as they wrapped up the points at Upton Park.
